It's my first Fairy Tail FanFic, hope you like it.
It was a regular day for Kyouka, she made lots of progress today. When she was walking down the hall though, she heard something. So she went to see what it was. Silver and Franmalth were sitting on the floor against the wall each with a 3DS, for who knows what reason why they chose the floor.
"What are you two doing?" asked Kyouka.
"We're trading Pokemon in Ultra Moon and Ultra Sun! I'm getting a Palossand from Silver, and I'm giving him a Regice! Palossand can possess people, according to the Pokedex!" said Franmalth.
"According to the Pokedex for Regice, Regice's body is made out of ice that can't be melted." said Silver.
They continued playing their game, and Kyouka kept walking. She saw that Ezel and Sayla were both also playing on 3DSs.
"What are you doing?" asked Kyouka with a sigh, she thought they were playing Pokemon too.
"I'm visiting Ezel's town in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. Mostly pulling out weeds, though because he doesn't do that for some reason." said Sayla.
"What's the point of pulling weeds anyways?" said Ezel.
"Makes the town look nicer." said Sayla.
Is everyone playing a 3DS? Where did they even get them, I wonder... thought Kyouka. She kept walking again, now deciding to check on what the others were doing. When she peeked into the closest room to her, she saw Jackal, Keith, Lamy, and Torafusa were all playing a 3DS game. Kyouka asked with a sigh:
"What are you four playing?"
"Super Smash Bros 3DS!" said Lamy.
"I'm pretty sure I'm winning again." said Torafusa.
"Not unless I win!" said Jackal.
"You do that~" said Lamy, shifting closer to Jackal who just grunted in reply.
Keith wasn't participating in the bickering, but that wasn't a surprise.
"Why is everyone playing a 3DS today?" Kyouka muttered under her breath.
"Mard Geer got a bunch today so we could have something to do. They each come with a Pokemon game, an Animal Crossing game, Super Smash, and a Mario game," said Torafusa.
Torafusa pointed to a table beside him.
"There's one left for you over there. Tempesta is trying to remember how to turn it on, that's why he isn't here right now."
Kyouka went over to where he was pointing, and took the 3DS. I wonder what it is about these that everyone likes so much? wondered Kyouka, taking her 3DS.
A WEEK LATER...
"Hey! You just wasted our last life!" said Jackal angrily.
"Sorry, but it was all for you!" said Lamy.
"We're so close to the finish of the level! I need to concentrate. And throw more ice balls at those goombas." said Silver.
"Shush! I want to be the one to go on the flagpole and finish it." said Kyouka.
Franmalth walked in, with his 3DS.
"Hey! If I knew you were playing New Super Mario Bros. 2, I would have come too!" said Franmalth.
"Sorry, you're too late, four of us are already playing!" said Silver.
Kyouka has been really enjoying the 3DS in the one week she had it. She finally knows why everyone enjoys it so much...
