Warning: Murder
Written for the Yu-Gi-Oh Drabble Challenge on Livejournal. It failed miserably, so I hope it's not that bad. You tell me, please?
That's when his fascination for treasures began. When he held the gold chain in his hands and pulled it against the guard's neck, cutting his breath. The thief was careful not to pull too hard. He didn't want the thin chain to break, yet. His victim's hands moved back, grabbing the long red coat whose fabric definitely wasn't mere cheap linen. The trembling digits clung to the cloth until they had no strength left. The chain broke and the corpse fell on the floor.
The Thief reclined back on his pile of gold and jewels, waiting for his next victim.
