Hide-And-Seek
A seven-year-old Lily Luna Potter giggled as she ran through the halls of her home in Godric's Hallow, wildly searching for a hiding place. She quickly darted into her older brother, Albus', room and dived under the bed, shoving away products from WWW and old toys as she tried to find a position from which she couldn't be seen. Just as she had finally settled down comfortably on her stomach she heard a loud shout from downstairs: "Ready or not, here I come!"
Lily put her hands over her mouth, trying to stop her giggles as she heard footsteps coming up the stairs. Before long, she began to hear the sound of movement coming from one of the other five rooms inside the second floor of the Potter Family home. The movement stopped and she heard loud laughter and grinned, knowing that Albus had been caught, which left her to be the last one found.

For several minutes it was very quiet until suddenly a pair of bare feet walked through the doorway and came into the room. Lily held her breath, hoping that her second older brother (if you counted Teddy) would not find her.

"Hmm," James Sirius Potter said loudly, no doubt trying to scare his little sister out of hiding, "I wonder where Little Lily could be. Is she in the closet?"
Lily tightened her hands around her mouth, trying to stop James from hearing her giggles.

"No. Maybe she's behind the curtains?" James continued, walking away from the closet and checking the curtains, smiling when he didn't see her. There could be only one other place that she could be.

"Or how about...under the bed!" James shouted, dropping to the floor and peering under the bed,his grin widening when he saw the last target of his search.

"Found you!" James crowed. "That means that you're it!"

"Nuh-uh!" Lily argued back as she pulled herself out from under the bed. "You found Al first so he's it!" She put her hands on her hips as she had seen her mother do many times, and glared at her brother who smirked down at her tauntingly.

"Uh-huh!"

"Nope."

"Yes!"

"What exactly is going on in here?" a voice called from the doorway, causing the siblings to turn their attention away from each other and to the person who had interrupted their fight.

"Teddy!" Lily called as she flung herself at the blue-hared metamorphmagus, hugging his waist while he laughed.

"It's nice to see you too, Lily-kins." he said, smiling.

"I told you, don't call me Lily-kins!" the young girl shot back, glaring.

James watched the two with growing impatience "Teddy, please tell Lily that in hide-and-seek, it's the last person who gets found that becomes 'it', not the first." James exclaimed suddenly, trying to get to the point.

"No, it's the first!" Lily snapped at him.

"No it's not!"

"What's not?" a new voice spoke from behind Teddy. Albus Severus Potter stepped out from behind his god-brother to look curiously at Lily and James, his emerald colored eyes wide with confusion.

"They're arguing over who should be 'it', you or Lily."

Albus frowned and, being the fairest and most mature out of the three siblings, tried to come up with a solution. He did not particularly want to be 'it' but he also knew that Lily would run to Mum if they made her 'it' and James most certainly wasn't going to be 'it' twice. His face suddenly brightened as a solution came to him and he turned to Teddy with a wide grin.

"Hey Teddy, wanna play Hide-And-Seek?"
