DG peered around Ambrose's lab, ever since the surgery Ambrose has been acting.... Different... When DG got back on track with her princess lessons such as her magic classes and her normal subjects (E.g. the history of the Outer Zone) she could take time away and wonder around her new home. Anyway as DG peered in the door she saw Ambrose slumped over his work bench, he looked rather annoyed about something. DG pushed her way past the heavy metal door and allowed it to slam behind her. Ambrose jumped in shock,
"Princess.... Forgive me I did not know you were here" He said running his hands through his hair which now did not contain a zipper. "Er look I drew up some blue prints which may help me dismantle the Sun Seeder properly." He said with a satisfied smile. As DG walked passed he sighed heavily as if he was nervous. DG sighed.
"Ambrose I don't understand" DG told him turning back around to face the advisor. Ambrose laughed,
"Well I wasn't sure I understood it at first but at least now I..." He was interrupted by DG,
"No! I don't understand why you're acting like this!" She screamed desperate to find out the truth, Ambrose was confused.
"Acting like what?" He asked looking at her puzzled.
"You know what I'm talking about!" She snapped back, Ambrose turned around pretending to clear up his blue prints,
"I am sure I do not know what you mean" He mumbled,
"Yes you do!" She cried "Ambrose" No response "Ambrose!" No response "Glitch!" Shouting Glitch was a mistake a slip of the tongue. Ambrose turned sharply with tears clouding his eyes.
"Never ever call me that again!" He said in a voice that sounded like he was drowning in tears.
"I'm sorry, you're not Glitch" She answered,
"Thank you" He replied turning around,
"Which must mean that you're not my friend" She said back in a strong voice, Ambrose dropped what he was doing and turned around surprised,
"What?" He said in almost a whisper, DG nodded.
"Well you're certainly not acting like Glitch anymore"
"Oh you mean I'm not acting like that brainless idiot anymore" He snapped back, he hated remembering his life as Glitch so whenever someone brought it up he just continued to trash talk about Glitch.
"How dare you?!" She snapped at him, "You were him you know... and to be honest I much preferred Glitch to you!"
Ambrose was caught off guard, "Why would you prefer him?"
"Because he was kind, polite, funny and he was my friend!" She snapped back at him. And with that she darted out of the room, leaving Ambrose with a baffled look on his face...
