A pink and orange haze filled the sky, as the sun began to set in Kyoto Japan. The sound of a young girl's laughter carried on the wind, as she began to race up a steep hill. Her full curly red hair whipped around in the wind as she ran, she quickly looked over her shoulder to see a young boy around her age walking up the hill slowly. Her bright green eyes flashed with happiness, as she stared at the young boy. His rough exterior tended to make him unapproachable but the girl knew better, in fact it was his rough exterior that drew him to her. She couldn't help but continue to stare at him; his messy brown hair came to the base of his neck while his dark brown eyes were lowered as he walked. His dark junior high school jacket was opened to reveal, a white shirt that was unbuttoned at the top which revealed his collar bone. His hands were stuffed into his pants pockets that match his jacket, the boy soon felt her eyes on him which caused him to lift his head to stare into the eyes of the girl. A blush danced across her freckled cheeks knowing she been caught, normally the boy would smirk when he had caught her looking at him but he didn't this time causing the girl to frown slightly when she caught slight of his blank face.

"Bon." she called out, as time seemed to slow down for the boy known as Bon. The wind blew causing the girl's hair to whip around once more as well as her dark school uniform skirt, but she didn't seem to care if the boy saw her underwear as she continued to keep eye contact. Bon watched her carefully; his eyes soften when he saw her frown causing him to let out a sigh.

"We're going to miss the sunset." he spoke as he began to catch up to the girl who stood still, the girl nodded her head as she turned around and continued her way up the hill but not before almost slipping causing the boy to lean forward ready to catch her if she had. She called out an 'I'm fine' before she continued up the hill, the boy shook his head as a small smile formed on his lips before he continued to up the hill after the girl. Once the girl reached the top; her breath came out in pants as she over looked the city of Kyoto. The hill had the perfect view of the Kyoto, and the sky above. The girl's open lightly fell open, as she caught sight of the beautiful sun set.

"Wow." she mumbled as the boy stood beside her not panting at all which showed he was in better shape than the girl.

"It's so beautiful!" The girl said happily as her breath became normal again.

"Yeah." he spoke as Bon turned to look at the girl only to see that the sunset gave the girl a golden glow. Bon's cheeks began to heat up as he looked at the girl's profile, Bon couldn't help but forces on her plump lips as he slowly leaned in only to pull back and shake his head. He invited her here for a reason, and it wasn't to admire her lips not matter how much he wanted to place his own upon hers.

"Bon, what's wrong?" her voice caused him to turn his head attention back to her only to find her pouting, which caused him to raise an eyebrow.

"You brought me here, what did you want to tell me?" she asked as she looked into his eyes causing his hands began to sweat. Damn this was hard; this was harder than telling his parents. Was it because he knew how she would react, probably. Bon cleared his throat as his face became serious.

"Remi-" Bon began but stopped when he saw the girl known as Remi try to suppress her giggle but was failing.

"You look so scary when your serious." she said, as she began to laugh causing Bon's eye to twitch in annoyance causing her to laugh even harder.

"Remi I'm-" Bon spoke annoyed but that didn't phase Remi as she continued to laugh not knowing the struggle Bon was under.

"I'm going to True Cross Academy in Tokyo I'm to become an exorcist!" Bon said loudly causing Remi to stop laughing at once.

"Huh." she spoke speechless was she hearing this right? Bon was going to Toyko, and learn to become an exorcist. Remi knew the troubles that bothered Bon about his father, and that fateful night. But was he seriously going to go to become an exorcist?

"You're…leaving to become an exorcist in Toyko." Remi spoke as her eyes began to grow wide realizing he was completely serious. Bon didn't speak as he watched Remi turn her head to look upon their home city before she turned back to him, her mouth lightly open as she narrowed her eyes at his stern face.

"Your leaving, your mother, your father, your friends and...me" Remi whispered the last part as she now glared at him causing him to glare back.

"Remi-"He began but stopped when Remi took a step forward; his tempter slowly began to rise as he also took a step toward Remi.

"I'm going to defeat Satan and gather followers and reestablish the temple!" he repeated, the same thing he said to his parents earlier in the day causing Remi's temper to rise as well.

"That's the stupidest thing I have ever heard!" She hissed causing Bon to take another step closer.

"I'm guessing Konekomaru and Renzo are going as well?" she spoke.

"You've known I wanted to this?" he spoke as Remi rolled her eyes.

"Yeah but I didn't think you meant it."

"Well I did!"

"You should live your own life!"

"Your starting to sound like my father!"

"Good! Your father is a smart and wonderful man!"

"He's a coward who always run's away!"

"Well then." Remi spoke as she turned around and began to make her way down the hill angrily.

"What are you doing?" Bon spoke angrily as he watched her almost slip on the same spot as before.

"I'm running away!" She shouted, causing Bon to let out a sigh.

"Remi." he began but stopped when she looked over her shoulder and sent him a nasty glare.

"Don't Ryuji." she spoke as tears began to weld up in her eyes causing Bon to sigh once she used his full name.

"Stop being so stubborn!" he called out as he stuffed his hands back into his pockets.

"I will not, how can I when my boyfriend is going to Tokyo for who knows how long!" she hissed, as her tears began to fall causing Bon to begin to make his way down the hill.

"Don't!" he froze at tone of her voice. Bon watched as she continued to make her way down the hill, once she hit the bottom of the hill she broke out in the run causing Bon to growl as he removed his hands from his pockets, only to push his hair back from his forehead only for it to go straight back.

"Damn it." he cursed. 'This wasn't how it was supposed to go.' he thought, as he turned around to see the city lights. Why couldn't she understand that he wanted to do this, that this was his ambition. Why was she so darn stubborn.
