It was a normal day at the Kaiba mansion. It was quiet inside and Seto Kaiba was on his computer in his study. But unlike most normal days, Seto wasn't working on his computer. He was playing solitaire. He was tired of working and wanted to do something by himself to pass the time.
It was quiet in there until the door creaked open. Seto turned around and saw his only friend, other than Mokuba, walk in.
"Hey Seto, what are you doing," Kisara asked happily.
"I'm playing solitaire," he replied flatly.
"Solitaire is a lonely persons game," commented Kisara.
That's because I am a lonely person.
I don't need anyone to help me with anything. Others just hold me back.
I want to be by myself. I want to be left alone.
Others may think they know me but they don't. They will never understand me.
Most people see me as a cold, heartless person. People only see me for my negative qualities.
Others only see me for my outward appearance, they never try to look inside.
I don't want people to see me as a friend. I want to be alone.
Kisara listened to his words and just smiled. He was still staring at her when she replied.
You're wrong Seto. You are never alone.
I am here with you and I will always be here. The same goes for your brother.
You say that people hold you back. I say that your brother gives you strength. Where would you be without your brother? You might actually be a cold person.
I don't see you for your negative qualities, I see all of your handsome ones.
Other people may not know you, but I do. I know what you like, I know what you are like, and I understand you.
You may not want other people to help you, be near you, close to you, but you need it. You may not want to and admit it but it's true.
You are not lonely. You only think that in your mind.
She finished her little speech and walked over to where Seto was sitting. She wrapped her arms around his neck and leaned her forehead on his.
"I am always with you. You will never be alone."
He smiled at her shining face and stood up from his desk. He took her hand and walked out of his dark office. He wanted to pass the time with someone else, he didn't want to be alone anymore.
