A/N: This is just something I thought of. I don't know where it came from but I only had 5 minutes to put it into words so here. Review!

Her dark brown hair whipped her porcelain colored face, her deep brown eyes blazing like fire in the night.

The tent's opening was right there; she could reach out and touch it. But too disturb his rest would not be fitting.

Tears crept down her cheeks as she remembered earlier the other night. Tomorrow they would be heading back to Cair Paravel and she would not get the chance to ask what question was repeating itself in her thoughtful mind.

Her heart had felt as though it had stopped when she saw the sight. The white witch dragging a dagger into his beautiful mane.

She took another step forward, still wondering what to do. Go in and ask the question that was so innocently asking herself. Or let him rest as he so much deserved.

She grabbed hold on the many patterned fabric of the tent flap and opened it, stepping in slightly. And there she saw him, awake, sitting in front of her as if waiting.

"You are questioning everything Daughter of Eve. Why?" asked Aslan.

She stepped forward, making a slight bow before answering.

"I am questioning everything, because there is no answer to everything," she answered. Speaking in riddles seemed more often in Narnia then ever back at home.

"The answer is always there. You just must search for it," said Aslan.

"I do not know how, Aslan," she said softly, tears rimming her brown eyes.

"You do know how, Susan. You must search hard enough. Looking around the room and never moving things around will not get you any answer at all," said Aslan moving forward a step.

"I am not even sure what the question is, so how will I know what the answer is?" she asked herself and him.

"You know what the question is. Tell me," said Aslan.

She sighed and looked up; a small, but apparent, tear crept down her white cheek as she stared into those fire like eyes.

"The question is why," she answered.

"And the answer is not merely because. The answer is because it is what must happen," said Aslan moving for her to sit.

Susan moved slowly towards the chair and sat hesitantly. Now there was no running from the question.

"Why did you give yourself up?" she blurted out.

Aslan looked at her with whole eyes before answering.

"Because I knew I would come back. It was to save Peter, Edmund, Lucy…. And you," said Aslan looking at her.

"I am not worthy. I am not worthy to be saved by such a being," she said putting her head down.

"You are worthy Queen Susan. You are a Queen in this land. You are worthy," said Aslan.

She shook her head but stopped. It was hopeless to fight with the great Lion. She looked up and smiled.

"I was just wondering and I knew that if I waited it would not be answered," she said standing up.

"You should get rest, dear one. We are leaving at the crack of dawn in the morning," said Aslan, moving for her to leave.

But before she did she hugged him tightly and smiled before walking away.

He had answered her question. She is a Queen of Narnia, and she is worthy to be saved by a great soul such as him. She is Queen Susan of Narnia.

A/N: Okay… so this was just a small filet that I cooked up while working. I think it's good. What about you? I will not be continuing unless you persuade me, even then most likely I won't be. Review? Please do. xXx Kate xXx
