Laughter, bright lights and the smell of countless deliciousness filled at air at the 247th annual fair atop Mt. Hoko. The citizen of the nearby town had prepared for months to bring joy to many visitors and families. A young red-haired girl was in one hand holding a colorful balloon resembling a Kecleon showing his long tongue and the other hand was firmly held by her mother. The small family strolled through the masses and booths as the mouthwatering scent of roasted mushrooms and tasty sauces filled the air. Within heartbeats the young girl decided that she wanted to have some of them, she stopped and pulled at her mothers hand arguing and whining. Unable to resist longer the women went to the booth and grabbed her purse loosing grasp of her daughter's hand. Just then it was that through an unfortunate interaction of people pushing their way and the wind that the girl lost hold of the balloon. Black eyes looked at the young girl pleading for help as his plastic body floated in between two great booths. Determined to save her newly bought balloon she dived into the sea of human bodies working her way between them following the Kecleon. Arrived at the other side she looked up to see that her balloon had raised way up into the sky. Tears started to form and the vocal chords prepared to perform a cry as suddenly a female, smooth voice was heard and the sounds of the fair went faint.
"Poor little girl lost her balloon."
A gray Gardevoir stood some steps in front of the girl, she was holding onto a balloon of some sorts having two cords instead of one and being less colorful and rather dark, but possessing a cute little cloud as hair-do. The pokemon made some steps out of the shade coming close to the girl and holding the balloon in front of the girl, whispering: "Would you like mine?"
With watery eyes the girl looked at the Gardevoir, her grief now lost in hypnotic eyes. With tiny hands she grasped one chord now seeing with delight that it hat a cute little heart at the end. Smiles now formed on all three faces. And once again the beautiful voice echoed in the girls head:
"Want to go on a adventure little kid? Follow the balloon."
Even days later the girl was nowhere to be found and while mother, fathers and other citizen were searching the woods on an misty evening, one young boy had returned earlier from the search now seeking his home amongst the unfamiliar buildings. As after a turn a Gardevoir with a purple balloon appeared on the road, her back turned to him the streetlights went on with a buzzing sound and along with the sinking sun send eerie shadows on their way. The young boy turned around only to check but as he faced the Gardevoir again it had come closer without making a sound. The young body froze in fear his gaze now fixated on the pokemon. The shadow of her hair covered her face but the left eye that focused the kid. And a smooth, female voice surged into his head:"Poor little boy lost on his way home."
The kid lost himself in her eye and was disappointed as her gaze wandered to the balloon. "You know where he lives?" There was no reaction of the balloon but the Gardevoir now held the chord to the boy. "Follow the balloon little kid."
