Summary: It has been several years since the Wasurenagusa overflowed from the Embryo, and Riku and Takano are in a desperate search for their lost family. Meanwhile Sector 7 has a new unique specimen to study alongside NBE1.

CHAPTER ONE
It was an early Monday morning when I woke to the sounds of mumbled cursing and some thuds, Takao must be training again. This annoyed me greatly because this meant he was thinking about ten years ago and stayed up all night after making sure I was asleep. I rolled out of our shared bed and took a moment to peak out of the curtains. 'Aww man, it's already nine. Hayato will be annoyed at my lateness again.' I let out an irritated sigh and moved to the living room of our apartment.
As I walked I felt my phone vibrate. Glancing down, I recognized the number. 'Hayato-san' I quickly read the text and stopped mid-step. I felt my eyes widen and my heart rate increase. 'Riku, I have reason to believe I Have found the rest of yours and Takao's family. Please drop by the Annex Department as soon as you are able. –Hayato' I couldn't believe it, but…
"Takao! Calm down and look at what Hayato-san found!" I shouted not caring that I startled my roommate. This earned me a stink-eye, but I studiously ignored it. "Hayato-san thinks he found them." I stared at Takao dead in the eye, waiting for his reaction. He calmly turned and started down the hall to the bedroom.
I turned to the kitchen and made a quick breakfast while Takao is more than likely packing and taking a shower. After a few minutes my suspicion is confirmed when I heard the water run in the pipes.

After eating we locked up the apartment and headed over to Hayato's. When we entered Clara and her brother Joe popped up in front of us with twin grins plastered across their faces.
"So, Riku, Takao, can we come with you to America and help you investigate this Sector Seven?" When Clara said Sector Seven she put quotation marks in the air. But upon seeing my confused face she backed off.
"Thank you for debriefing them Clara, but let me take over from here." Hayato wheeled up to us and gave us a stern look. "Now hear me out. This Sector Seven is, to be frank, an oddity. They study extraterrestrial life forms and have the lead on the worlds technological advancements. We are not too sure why, but this information is of no use to you. The other day we received footage of the facility. They are located in Hoover Dam, America and have some of the tightest security we have ever seen." As he said this I sneaked a side glance to Takao.
"That won't be a problem." Takao said shortly. "Just get us there and we can do the rest." There was a moment of silence before Hayato nodded and told us when and where we leave from.
'Don't worry Neene, Rena, Ende. We're coming to get you!'
