Hey everyone I wrote this short story for Christmas not very long but I hope you enjoy. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!
(Lucy pov)
It was the week before Christmas and Natsu kept bugging me to get a tree so he could decorate it. I have no idea why but he insisted so my apartment would be more cherry for the holidays. So, that's how Natsu and I went tree shopping and sadly we are still here because he's looking for the perfect tree. "Hey Natsu what about this one?" I asked hoping that he would say yes. "Nope it need to be bigger than that." He said pointing at the tree and lighting it on fire. "NATSU, WHY DID YOU DO THAT!" I screeched. "I thought that it would look cool if I set it on fire so I did." He replied making it sound like the simplest thing ever. "You do realize you can't just burn things, right?" I asked. "Why not? It's fun." He stated simply. I could only sigh and shake my head at the idiot.
~~~~~~~~TIME SKIP~~~~~~~~~~~
After many hours of walking Natsu came across a huge tree that ad the greenest leaves. "Luce I found a tree!" Natsu yelled. I walked over to were the tree was and let me say this it was too big to go in my apartment. "Natsu do you really expect for this to fit in my apartment?" I asked. "Well I can just burn the amount off that wont fit." He said with his childish grin on. "It doesn't-" I was cut off by him yelling, "FIRE DRAGON ROAR!" Just then the bottom of the tree caught on fire. "Natsu! YOU BAKA DON'T YOU KNOW THAT CHRISTMAS TREES ARE HIGHLY FLAMMABLE!" While I was yelling I didn't notice that the tree behind me was engulfed in flames, but by the time I turned around it had started to catch all the other trees on fire. Staring at the trees light up the night we saw an angry man yelling at us. "YOU TWO ARE IN SO MUCH TROUBLE WHEN I CALL THE POLICE." He said while his face was bright red and his fist shaking in the air. Natsu then grabbed my wrist and we ran all the way back to my apartment room. When we got there the only thing I could say was, "I am never taking you tree shopping again."
The End.
