A gift appeared before me, purely by chance.
One that also curses
To be alone.
I took it, my light in one hand, my gift in the other
And plowed on.
Then I met you again, my friend
And you have become a sword, a weapon.
Then my light was wrenched from me
And my world turns upside down
But you were by my side again, my friend, my sword
And you shot.
I fell into the darkness,
Forever falling.
But still, I smiled.

Mandy: Hey, all! I wasn't going to write/continue my stories, but a plot bunny came up when I couldn't sleep last night. Sadly, I won't be continuing both of my Naruto fics for a while, since I've grown to be quite obsessed with Code Geass. Also, I didn't want to put the disclaimer at the beginning of the story, I'll say it now: I don't own Code Geass!! And as for any mistakes regarding the plot that I might have had, it's because I'm only on episode 16 of season one. (I cheated and got a lot of spoilers; also, I happen to read a lot of Code Geass fanfiction, so I know a bit of what goes on.)
