Once upon a time, there lived a witch named Marisa. She died. The End. Just kidding.
One day, she went to visit her best friend, Reimu. But Reimu wasn't at her shrine. There was just some dumb girl with long purple hair. So, Marisa went home and went back to sleep. It was midnight, after all. What was Marisa doing, going to visit her friend in the middle of the night? Only Marisa knew. So, the next day at around the same time, Marisa went yet again to visit her friend. But that time, the shrine wasn't there, either. There was just some dumb wooden box. Marisa put a 5 yen coin (about 5 cents) in the wooden box, went home, and went back to sleep again. On the third day, when she went, she found that outside of the forest within which her house existed, there was nothing. So, Marisa went home and went back to sleep. The day after that when she went, she found that he forest outside of her house was no longer there, either. So, she went back to bed, and went back to sleep. When Marisa opened her eyes to the final day, she found that there was nothing, and she too, no longer resided in the plane of existence.
Marisa suddenly jumped up. She looked around, and saw that she wasn't nowhere, she was in the familiar surroundings of her room. She took a deep sigh. A dream, she thought, it was just a dream. But still, something about that dream bothered her. It gave her shivers up her spine, and down her spine, and then up once again. She would have to hurry, before it was too late. Marisa plopped her hat on her head and rushed out the front door, not even stopping to close it. The crescent moon loomed overhead next to a sky full of stars as she made her way to the shrine in the darkness. When she reached the shrine, as she couldn't see anything, she cast a spell for light. As should be expected, Reimu was in fact, not standing outside. Marisa dropped a 5 yen coin in the Reimu's donation box, because she knew Reimu liked those things, and yelled her best friend's full name. But when the door opened, Marisa was surprised to see not a grumpy and upset Reimu, but rather a girl with long purple hair that she had never seen before. No, she had seen her once. It was in her dream that night. Marisa was actually rather shocked, and fled.
Reimu removed the wig and mask. Into the air, she asked, "There, I did it, now pay up. You happy?" The wind replied with lots of snickering, but she did get one word out of it: "Yes."
