The Girl in the Red Shirt.
Authors Note: Yo-yos. So, a new story, and an entirely new fandom. I'm in love with Glee and I've been pondering on how to write a story for my favorite couple, Fichel, and then BAM last night it hit me. So here we go.

"I'm really sorry about this, Finn," His mother murmured in an almost inaudible tone. "But I had to get out of there, get away from the demons. You'll understand it when you're older."
Finn Hudson had been being told this since he was eight years old. No, he would never understand this, Mom, he wanted to say but he knew he couldn't. He didn't understand why you had to keep running away from your demons when the more you run away from the more you'll have to face in the end. In his fifteen years of life, Finn Hudson had moved seven times and had no friends. He pushed the people away with ease. That way there was no tearful goodbye, if there was a goodbye at all.
Now they were in a city (Finn had given up on keeping track of what city they were living in four years ago) in western Ohio where his mother, Rosie, swears they will stay put for the rest of Finn's high school years.
If he had a nickel for every time he heard that statement…
He had to admit one thing. The neighborhood was the nicest, most fancy one they've lived in yet. He didn't know how she was affording to live in a place like this. She probably wasn't, he decided. It was probably money from her too-caring-for-their-own-good-parents, who apparently live somewhere near here.
Finn nodded, not paying attention to his mother's words. Over the years, he had grown used to just ignoring her, because nothing she says ever happens. But hey, maybe she'll surprise us all this year.
Or maybe she won't.
Finn sighed and looked out the window. The fast moving world was the age of innocence, elementary school boys and girls skipping giddily down the sidewalk, enjoying the day off for President's Day. He suppressed another sigh as his heart twanged at the image of happiness. That had never been him, it would never be him.
But suddenly something different caught his eye; a girl, to be particular. She was older than all the young kids swarming around her, roughly around his age. Her long curly brunette ringlets were tied in a pony tail behind her. She wore a simple red shirt and jeans. She looked so happy, so carefree, and so beautiful that while his life was one of lies, he knew one thing was sure.
He had to get to know the girl in the red shirt.
TBC.
(I know it's short, but they will be longer. This is just an intro).
