Lily jumped as someone tapped her shoulder. Gasping, she turned in her seat quickly, just in time to meet her boyfriend's soft lips. She moaned. Lily pulled away to see James' face.

"Go away. I'm studying."

She turned back to the book she was currently reading, 1001 Ingredients in Potions.

"Lils," James used her nickname. "Come on! You've practically memorized that book and you're a genius at Potions, so let's ditch the library and go out for a walk. Okay?"

Not waiting for an answer, James pulled her out of her chair and out of the library, not listening to his girlfriend's protests.

"Wait! Your legs are longer you know?" Lily shouted.

What Lily said was true. Lily only came up to James's shoulders and James was unnaturally fit from playing Chaser in Quidditch.

James sighed; he walked back and swung Lily behind his shoulders. Hanging upside down, Lily thumped her fists against James's back, knowing it would not bother him one bit.

"James! Put me down this instant!"

Complying, James dropped her, only to catch her before she fell.

Lily got up to her own feet and stared at James in shock. Shaking her head, Lily hugged him.

"Merlin, never do that again!" She muttered into his chest as James put his nose into her hair, smelling her sweet Vanilla and Cherry shampoo.

They stood in the hallways alone as they spent their next free period snogging and hugging.
