Sirius Black
I. Even before Lily and James were killed, Sirius disliked Peter. Wormtail had never actually done anything to offend him, yet everytime the man opened his mouth Sirius grimaced. Of course he would never tell James that; his best friend lived in such a delusion of having found the perfect friends that Sirius couldn't bear to burst his bubble. Sometimes he wondered if things would've been different had he voiced his opinion.
II. Sirius was certain he wasn't gay; he just really liked his friends. Particularly Remus, whose gentle demeanour, intelligence, and witty sense of humour left him with an urge to kiss the other boy. Remus was just an exception to Sirius's strict heterosexuality. A very beautiful, and tempting exception.
III. Dying had surprised him. He hadn't expected it. Yet once it was done, he somehow understood that he was meant to die. Actually, after he died, he seemed to understand a lot of things that he wished he would've been aware during his life; particularly the fact that it's not who you love, but how you love that matters.
