Happy Thanks Giving Everyone! I decided to write a one shot for the occasion.

It was Thanks Giving day. Luke was excited to celebrate his first Thanks Giving. 'Wow.' He thought as he climbed out of bed, 'An entire holiday devoted to eating food!' He dressed in his usual blue sweater and hat, as he left his room he grabbed his satchel from around the arm of a chair. He dashed down stairs into the living room where his mom sat on the couch watching the news and sipping some tea.

"Luke where are you going in such a hurry?" She called as he passed.

"I'm going to meet up with my friends at the park!" Luke responded.

"Ok. Don't forget to eat something," Brenda reminded, "and be home in time for dinner!"

"Don't worry, mum. I wouldn't miss it for all of the puzzles in the world!"

Luke strolled at a quick pace. He was excited to see his friends. However, that didn't stop him from visiting with a Dalmatian he met along the way. Finally, when he made it to the park he saw his three best friends, Brian, Alex, and Jasmine.

"Hi guys!" Said Luke running up to them. "I can't wait for dinner tonight!"

"He he, personally I'm pretty neutral about Thanks Giving. To me it's just a sign that Christmas is almost here." Brian remarked.

"Really Brian? Y'know there's more to it than that." Said Jasmine shaking her head.

"Oh, right," Brian mused, "There is also the mashed potatoes, my dad makes the best home made potatoes ever."

"Pumpkin Pie is definitely my favorite." Alex cut in.

"Turkey is my favorite, what about you, Luke? What's your favorite?" Asked Jasmine.

"Well, I don't really know yet, I've never celebrated Thanks Giving before."

"Oh that's right you wouldn't have." Brian said.

"Although, if I had to guess it would probably be... all of it." Luke smiled.

"You do like your food." Jasmine commented.

"What are your guys' Thanks Giving plans?" Inquired Luke.

Brian sighed. "Oh you know, the usual, relatives come and invade my house and eat turkey and then we give each other Christmas Lists and go home."

"You don't seem to like Thanks Giving much Brian." Said Luke.

"Now don't get me wrong, it's a good holiday, but I'm just not into spending time with my cousins."

"I'm not spending it with any cousins, just my mum, dad and me." Luke said disappointedly.

"Oh come on it's not that bad." Said Jasmine.

"I guess you're right."

Luke was quiet for the rest of the day he was starting to missed Professor Layton a little bit. Finally, as the sun began to descend in the sky, Luke headed home. He was greater at the door by his mother who asked cheerfully "Did you have fun with your friends dear?"

"Yeah" Luke set his satchel down on a living room chair.

"Dinner is almost ready, Luke," Brenda smiled. "Oh and there's an old friend of yours in the kitchen waiting for you!"

Luke's eye grew wide with excitement. He ran into the kitchen, and, just as he hoped, there was the Professor in his usual top hat and coat. Luke gave him a huge hug. "I've missed you so much Professor!"

"And I've missed you Luke."

Every year after that the Tritons celebrated Thanks Giving with the Layton family.

Wow on that was really cheesy -_- oh well *shrugs*
