"This is the Maze, all of it." Minho said, pulling a sheet off the circular piece or art.
"I thought you said you hadn't finished exploring it yet." Thomas said.
"Can't tell them that. Around here, Greenie, we have to keep everyone hopeful or everything falls apart. And if we reveal that there is no solution to the Maze, what do you think happens?"
"Chaos. But isn't there some way to prevent that? Some way to look for a solution in the Maps and not the Maze?"
"You just don't get it do you?!" Minho sighed,running a hand through his hair. Then he did something Thomas wasn't expecting. Minho began to sing, and he apparently had a good voice.
Dark and hopeless,
the world seems,
A world deprived,
of hope and dreams!
Trouble and dark days,
friends fallen,
hopes lost, dreams shattered,
All because of that Maze!
Dark walls with no exit,
A place full of monsters,
A prison with no key,
a problem with no solution,
A Maze with no way out!

It's hard to stay strong on a good day,
and on a bad one, things can really go astray.
It's a rather pathetic situation,
to have to run to no destination.

Thomas was too moved to say anything for a moment. He nodded his head. It made perfect sense and the song kinda spoke for itself. Minho showed him a few more things and then they went Running.
