Moonlight
Worksop was a dark place (mainly because they couldn't afford to put the street lamps on) the rain was heavy and pored onto the lead rooftops of this grey town.
A mountainous range surrounded the town, tall trees and winding paths were all that were in site. A soft fog descended on the town carpeting it like snow.
The moon reflected in a tranquil pool of water which was shattered by the trembling footsteps of an innocent fleeing man who was being pursued by three ravenous vampires.
The first and slimmest of the vampires had very distinct features, a large nose and wide eyes which were almost captivating.
The second vampire who was the largest of the group looked very masculine and sure of himself he strode along the dim street with pure confidence.
The final and most attractive of the group followed the other two in a reluctant manner his rugged hair blowing softly in the wind.
The vampires were a solid front like a band of brothers each one with there own talent. Speed, strength and brains. They were capable of anything.
The fleeing man was now sprinting down the street prancing through the puddles which jumped back up at him each drop dancing in the air before landing on the mans drenched converse.
The three vampires were still steadily strolling behind the terrified man. The largest of the group had a smug look on his perfect face and turned to the slimmest vampire and said 'let's suck him dry.'
They then commenced to hunt the victim, within a second the victim was pinned to the cold hard pavement the strongest man holding him with ease like a lion with a mouse. The attractive one plunged his fangs deep into the quivering neck and started sucking the life out of the innocent passer by. You could see his eyes gradually loosing there life with each second the vampire clung to his neck. The vampire was in a trance, his eyes glazed over; he was totally fixated by the blood it was like liquid gold.
When they could tell the man was gone the two vampires gently patted there brother on the shoulder and he lifted his elegant head from the lifeless corpse that lay beneath him and gracefully licked his blood stained lips.
The last working street lamp started to flicker uncontrollably. It then went dim for a split second then shone brightly again and the vampires were gone. And there in the middle of this boring town laid a lifeless man in a puddle the only thing living about him was the small trickle of blood flowing down his neck. I guess the vampires decided to be generous that night.
