Danny: How can I not feel this way? I kinda' like it.
Evelyn: Oh, you do.

He laughed a bit and continued, "Oh those parachutes. That forever holds my favorite moment. But, Red, I think I'm falling my dead best friends…" he paused as reality hit him.

Red patted Danny's back. "It's alright. I don't worry, If I was in your shoes, I'd do the same." Red's smile slowly faded. He stood up and walked away.

Danny looked down at his dirty knuckles and flicked specks of hardened dirty of his hand. He looked up and sighed as he thought about what had happened in the previous night. Had he made a mistake? He was falling for the girl his deceased friend, Rafe, had loved. Was it wrong for him to feel this way? His questions remained unanswered for the time-being, until he saw Evelyn, rounding a corner and approaching him in the hangar. Danny stood up and smiled.

Evelyn paused and smiled, she continued to walk.

Danny ran through his mind what he might say, would flat out rejecting her hurt too much or would staying with her? He had little time to think, because, before he knew it, Evelyn was standing directly in front of him.

"Hey Danny," she said, her voice light and delicate. "Listen about last night…"

He interrupted her. "No, Evelyn, you listen." He paused. "Not to sound bossy of course. But that night with you last night was the best night I have had since, well, ever. I normally avoid girls, but with you I feel something. But how can I not feel this way? I kinda' like it."

Evelyn paused and made a glorious attempt to soak it all up. "Oh you do." She replied, inquisitively. She re-gathered her thoughts and looked at Danny with a whole new perspective. "Well, I may have too." She said, grabbing his left hand. "I'm glad everything has happened this way. I wouldn't and I don't regret a think."

He looked at her, with electric silence surrounding the two of them. She took a step closer. Evelyn grabbed his left hand and approached his ear. "I wouldn't have it any other way," she looked into his eyes and their warm lips met. She pulled back, her eyes still closed, "I want to spend this evening with you," she said. "The girls and I found the perfect restaurant!" she said with excitement.

Danny gave her and nod and watched her walk away.
