The doctor was shaken from the experience that he had just gone through. He had just lost another companion. Two actually.
River had other plans so he had dropped her off on a planet he could never remember the name of.
He was all alone.
Suddenly a jolt threw him to the ground of the TARDIS.
"What the-" he began when another large jolt sent him flying across the room.
He felt his wrist snap on impact.
The doctor managed to get to his feet and look at the TARDIS screen.
Everything was dead.
Then the lights in the TARDIS went out.
He was thrown like a rag doll when suddenly he felt something impale him through the chest.
Not good. He thought.
Then the biggest impact threw him, indicating he had crashed on earth.
The TARDIS was pitch black when suddenly a light began to form... From his hands.
Regeneration.
Not now. The doctor thought.
That was the last thing that happened before he burst into light. Flames engulfing his body.
