Why doesn't she want this? God am I really that horrible, that she doesn't want to have a baby with me? Why doesn't she understand how much a love her?
He couldn't get these thoughts out of his head so he decided to write two letters, one to Abby if she terminated the pregnancy and one to Abby if she kept the baby.
Letter to Abby if she terminated the pregnancy:
My Dearest Abby,
I know the decision you made was not easy. I can't say I completely understand why you did this, but I do want you to know that I support 100 percent. I still want to be with you, even though we are not having a baby. I love you with everything that I am. Don't ever forget that. I am always here for you.

Now to If she is going to have the baby:
My Dearest Abby,
You have no idea how much this means to me. I can't imagine having a baby with anyone else in the world. You are going to be and amazing mother. This baby is going to be so lucky to have you. Don't worry; I will be there every step of the way. I am not going anywhere. I love you very much Abigail Lockhart. Don't ever think otherwise.

He would go find her after he was done, wait for her to tell him what she had done, and then give her the correct letter. He knew what he wanted, but he wasn't sure what she he was hoping they felt the same way. He didn't want to lose her. He couldn't. So he waited and waited, called her four times before he was finally off the clock. He stopped by her apartment. No such luck, he knew where she was. She was in the park. She was always in the park looking at the river. He walked faster and faster as he approached the bench she was sitting on.
He spoke, but it seemed so quite to him, he wasn't sure how she heard him.
"I couldn't do it" she said, "I want us to have this baby"
And his heart melted.
