"Balamory?" Rose asked.
The Doctor grinned, "Was the first Scottish sounding name that came into my head."
"You didn't think of maybe Glasgow, Edinburgh?"
"Heat of the moment."
"And how have you heard of Balamory?"
"You mean it's real?"
"No," Rose replied. "It's a kids telly programme. You watch CBeebies!" she laughed.
"Not me, I must have caught you watching it."
"I don't watch it."
"And yet you know what Balamory is."
"I've seen it advertised."
"Before Charlie and Lola?" the Doctor asked with a teasing expression in his eyes.
"Just admit it, you watch CBeebies."
"I may have occasionally seen it as I was flicking to BBC News 24."
"Yeah, right. You're a thousand years old and you watch pre-school telly. That is just sad."
"Says the woman with a cuddly Pingu on her bed."
Rose raised her eyebrows, "Says the alien who knows who Pingu is."
"Umm, fair comment," the Doctor conceded. "So where'd you want to go now?"
"Somewhere warm, it was bloody freezing in the old house. You haven't taken me to Barcelona yet, how 'bout there?"
The Doctor dashed around the console, turning dials and pushing buttons. "Barcelona it is. Food first?"
"Fish fingers, chips and beans?"
"With a fried egg," the Doctor agreed.
