Tsuna yelled to Xanxus, "Why are you doing this? I'm not fighting to be Vongola X!".

"Then why are you even trying?" he snarled viciously.

"To protect my friends!, I never wanted to be a Mafia boss in the first place! I am fighting for that reason and that alone because my friends shouldn't get hurt For my sake and for that reason I won't back down from this fight for the Vongola rings!" Tsuna shouted triumphantly.

Gonna stand my ground, won't be turned around

And I'll keep this world from dragging me down

"Hehe"Xansus mocked. "Protecting your friends won't get you anywhere in the Mafia world. Your 'friends' are no match for my guardians anyway, so why don't you just give up now while you're behind?" He sneered.

"Because my resolve is to protect my friends and I will stand by that resolve firmly."Tsuna replied.

"Hmph, I'm glad he decided to stand by his resolve... He obviously knows that the 'easy' way never has really existed. And so he didn't forfeit just to keep his friends from getting even more hurt, because he knew it was most likley a lie made by Xansus just so Xansus could succeed his father and be Vongola X and harm Tsuna's friends."

Well I know what's right I got just one life

In a world that keeps on pushin' me around

But I'll stand my ground and I won't back down

" I get pushed around by everyone and I even get called Loser Tsuna, but that will never stop me from being who I am and standing by my resolve.". He said strongly.

The battle raged on for what seemed like an eternity to all the spectators. The spectators worried about the soon to be Vongola X candidates for they both came so near to death that they could see heaven's gates and hell's flames. Until finally Tsuna was declared the winner and the next Vongola boss after Xansus's disqualification for calling the rest of the Varia for reinforcements. Seething with rage Xansus swore he'd be back and left with his squad. Tsuna was just glad it was over and congratulated his friends. And all was well, for now.

Reborn: it was okay...WRITE LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!

Me:okay plus I also noticed Tsuna was a little repetitive in this story... 'sweatdrop' but if you like it I might right a multi-chapter sequel...

Tsuna: did you really have to put in the Loser Tsuna part!?

Me: yes yes I did Loser Tsuna.

Tsuna: dang it 0_o
