When Dean finally cleared the blood from his spinning vision and got the Impala's door open, he slithered to the ground in a bloody and dazed heap.
For a while, he lay curled on the ground, breathing cool night air into bruised lungs and possibly broken ribs.
Eventually, he clambered to unsteady feet and weaved his way to the front of the Impala.
Her front had been staved in, the hood folded up on itself and the windshield a mass spider-web.
Dean glanced at the furry body off in the ditch.
"Damnit Bambi, look what you did to my baby."
