With a sigh, Leon Roberts signed the array of papers set in front of him by the plump real estate agent.
Mister Roberts was an older man, hunched in the back and wrinkled all over. His eyes were rather bright, however, as he occasionally looked up at the woman in front of him with a hidden distaste as he signed the papers. Once he had finished with the last paper, he pushed the entire stack towards her with a simple "I'm finished."
The real estate agent smiled at that, picking up the papers and handing a set of keys to the man. "Well, it's all yours, Mister Roberts! Here are the keys to everything."
"Thank you, Miss Sorenson," Mister Roberts stood, extending his hand to the real estate agent. After the two shook hands, the man took his cane, pulled his jacket on a bit tighter and started towards the door. "I am going to look around again. Please, don't wait up."
He quickly left the building at that, sighing. Real estate agents had always irked him... But this experience had been quite worth it.
Leon Roberts had just bought an old campground in the Sinnoh region, a stark difference from his home in Hoenn. He was planning on creating a somewhat cliché camp to aid young trainers in honing their battle skills. The varied climates of Sinnoh- nearly freezing one moment, mild the next- would be interesting, to say the least. These campers would have to learn how to deal with conflicting climates…
He stopped walking once he reached a clearing with a large group of small buildings positioned in a circle. He looked around with interest, remembering when he first toured the area. With a miniscule smile, he repeated his earlier thoughts.
"This would make a nice camper area..."
Roberts looked around again, counting the buildings. Seventeen... There were seventeen or so types, weren't there? Yes... Seventeen types...
That definitely made for easier cabin naming... But he still needed to figure out how he would sort the mass of campers that were certainly coming to his camp... Maybe he should do something unique...
He wandered back towards the building he came from- his office. He was relieved to see that Miss Sorenson's car was gone from in front of said office. Now he wouldn't have to deal with her when he was trying to think…
After a long moment of thought, he sighed.
He needed to find a few councilors to keep the kids in line...
And, of course, a semi-creative name for this place...
This is probably going to take a while.
Okay, how many of you actually read that? Did you all just skip to the bottom to find an OC form or something? Well, ha ha. I don't have an OC form posted here! You need to PM me for one. Take that, people who don't read my shit!
...Okay, maybe it's best you didn't read that... It's not that great. But hey, I'm kinda proud of it!
So, yeah! If you wanna submit a character, PM me for details and an OC form! I'll let you guys know, I plan on sorting these guys somewhat strangely. By, like, battle style and stuff. It'll be... Different. xD
Thanks to Shadow of Eckhart for help with the name. And I kinda drew the cover myself. xD
Note- I do not own Pokemon or any of the coming OCs.
Also note- This will NOT be my main project, as much as an OC fic should be. Updates will be rather sporadic. If you wanna keep in touch with this thing, check quite often or put it on alert. Thank you!
Stay tuned, guys!
