A 'clink' was heard as Rin numbly tapped against the glass syringe with her index finger. Len silently watched, anticipating the moment that the high would finally come. Rin always used syringes, causing an instant high, as Len always snorted, since he was afraid of needles.
They always held hands during, making sure their sibling wouldn't get too tripped out and do something stupid.
Rin could now easily point out where the vein was, after months of use. She bit her lip as she injected herself with the drugs, a belt tied to her arm.
Ah. There it was…
The siblings looked at each other and smiled, eyes half-shut. They wouldn't admit it, but both of them were hooked. A whole new kind of creativity appeared during the high and they started singing together, with surprisingly brilliant lyrics and notes.
