This is a little standalone fic. Its AU. This just the way I would have liked to see the Dec 9 th episode of Joey end!

Title: Joey's Christmas Surprise

Summery: Gina ,Michael and Alex think Joey's been fired so they give him a Christmas surprise.
Gina, Michael and Alex sat in the courtyard outside Joey's apartment waiting for him to come home. "You really think he'll like it" Alex asked breaking the silence. "Well duh, he's been whining about missing Christmas in New York for days" Gina answered "Yeah he's been acting weird about Christmas he wore a hat and coat when we went to get a tree I think this is just what he needed especially since it looks like he'll be losing his job today" Michael added.
Joey came walking towards them a grin on his face. "Hey, guys. Guess what? Great news. I didn't die!" he exclaimed. "Oh wow that's so great" Alex hugged him. "Yeah man I'm glad you didn't die" Michael told him. "That's awesome Joey " Gina said. "Yeah, yeah, let's go out and celebrate" he said. "Let's go in the apartment first." Gina suggested. "No, no, it's boring in there. Let's go do something special" he said. "Maybe there's something special in the apartment" He shrugged "No, no, let's go out." Gina glared at him. "Get in the damn apartment!"
"Alright fine" he said. The four of them walked into the apartment. Joey's face lit up when he saw the place. It was decorated for Christmas. The tree stood in the corner lit up and decorated with the old Tribbiani ornaments. Next to the tree was a big smiling blown up snowman. Two stockings donned with Joey and Michael's names hung over the fireplace. On the mantel was a manger scene minus monkeys and squirrels. Beside it was a dancing Santa, Carols played softly on the radio and in the middle of the room stood the best part. Chandler and Monica each holding a twin, Ross and Rachel with Emma in her arms and Mike and Phoebe stood there smiling at him. "Merry Christmas Joey!" they all exclaimed.
"Merry Christmas you guys" he grinned hugging them. He turned to his sister, nephew and friend. "This is so fantastic. I can't believe you did this." He said hugging them. "I am finally feeling like it's Christmas, you know? This is really special. I get to keep my job. I'm surrounded by friends and family this is the best Christmas ever, thanks so much you guys." Gina smiled "Merry Christmas Joe" she said "Now get your ass over there and be with your friends" she ordered. "Christmas in LA isn't that bad after all" he thought as he joined his friends.
