"Look, Vivian, I-I know you don't like me." Téa spoke up. She said it a lot actually, when she was with Vivian, like she needed to remind her, to jog her memory.
As if she'd ever forget.
Vivian shrugged. "Don't take it too personally, kid." she replied casually. "I don't like anyone much."
"I've noticed," Téa uttered, not bothering to keep the distaste out of her voice, because this lady was so negative, so full of herself, so ungrateful. It was also kind of unattractive, Téa thought, except when it really wasn't.
That kind of attitude would just keep her from having any friends, to being completely alone, but what did she know?
And Vivian smiled slightly. "I guess you don't have a problem then," she spoke, her voice smug, "with getting to know people who don't like you."
"No," Téa stated, trying for nonchalant but only sounding defensive. "I guess I don't."
"Good," Vivian answered, stepping nearer, her hand firm on the back of Téa's neck, pulling her close. "That's good to know."
