When Dean was younger, he used to drive when he had a lot on his mind. He would test the Impala's speed, going past 110 mph as he left his troubles behind in the dust of some Arizona highway.
These days, Dean doesn't have as much free time, but he sure as hell would love to escape.
He still goes for drives, but the looming specter of the apocalypse always haunts him.
Dean drowns it out by blasting Boston's "Peace of Mind"and speeding down the road.
For just a moment, the weight of the world is lifted from his shoulders.
