I own nothing. Square Enix owns Kadaj, Loz, Tifa, Marlene, Cloud, Yazoo and Sephiroth.
Kadaj
"Yazoo, tell me why you are shooting everything that moves when it comes down that road!!" Kadaj hissed, patience wearing thin. His older brother hadn't scarcely stopped shooting for the past thirty minutes, and it was starting to get on his nervYes. "Big brother isn't here yet!"
The taller remanet just for a moment to look at his younger brother. "Shoot first, shoot again, and don't ask questions" Yazoo replied, before turning back to stare at the road, leaving Kadaj to stare at his older brother in horror, wondering what would happen why Loz and the girl came riding down that road.
Loz
Loz paused to look over his shoulder at the flower garden and the lady who lay injured in it. When they had fought, it had been like she was burning, but not a bad burning. Some kind of good burning, maybe? The only thing he knew about flame was that it was bad.
Stepping outside, he squinted up at the sun. After loading the Materia and the girl (Marlene, was that her name?), he paused to stare up into the burning sun above. That was it. She had fought like the burning sun.
Yazoo
Yazoo had always wanted to fly, and somehow fighting with a gun seemed to fill part of that wish. Making something fly, even just bullets, was enough to lift his heart. He would take excellent care of his gun, Velvet Nightmare, and everything to do with her.
But here, later, it was both easier and harder to fly. Easier, because he was falling, and that is a type of flying, right? But harder, because he couldn't feel the wind wiping throught his hair, or anything else.
When Yazoo wanted to fly, he never dreamed it would be to his death.
Sephiroth
Deep inside himself, at his core, he was screaming. Screaming for his body to stop, stop hurting Zack, his best friend, and the guide and the town, and then Midgar. But whatever had taken over his body took no notice of his silent screams and begging for the pain to stop.
And when Cloud and the rest of AVALANCHE defeated him, he hoped that, in the Lifestream, Zack and Aeris could forgive him.
