Author's Note: Sorry this is so short but I didn't want to make it longer and risk lessening the quality of the writing (not that what's here is any good), next thing I write will be longer.
Selina knew he'd catch her; in fact she was counting on it. Her fingers danced over the dial on the safe and she heard the tell-tale click in no time. She eased the safe open and her jaw dropped as she saw what was inside. A beautiful pearl necklace rested on a velvet cushion. "Come to kitty" she purred as she relieved the safe of the valuable necklace. "I already have" Selina smiled slightly as she recognised the gravelly voice of the Dark Knight. "I should probably be scared that you'll arrest me," she turned round to face him, "but you know what, I'm really not". Batman took a step forward, "Good, because stopping you is the last thing on my mind". Selina tucked the expensive necklace into a bag, "Well that's a relief, so what do you want Mr Detective?"
After a moment's pause he answered, "You". Selina glanced at him, "That'd be sweet if you meant it". He suddenly looked a lot more serious, "I do". She could hardly believe what she was hearing, "Really?" This had to be the first time she'd seen the Dark Knight look awkward, "Really, but what about you?" Selina did the only thing she could think of, he leaned in at the same time and their lips met. He was a better prize than what she had come for in the first place.
