Hey, this is my first Fan Fic and i suck at writing dialouge anyhoo enjoy and plz tell me how to improve.

Chapter I: The Letter

It was a sunny morning over Mario's house as he and Luigi were sipping coffee and exchanging stories. Luigi was just in the middle of telling Mario how he won a recent tennis tournament, when the door bell rang. "I'll get it, Mario" Luigi said as he was walking toward the door. However Mario sensed that he was needed so he sprung in front of Luigi pushing him back to the floor. After Mario landed he opened the door to find not a person but a letter. He examined the envelope and decided to bring it in. After seating himself back in the dining room he opened the letter and read over it.

Dear Mario,

I hope you remember me… I'm that Yoshi kid you fought with in the Glitz Pit. Well after you left Rougeport I decided to go back to the arena and see how well I could do. I climbed up to the top but soon I was beaten by a three man samurai group known as The Yorozuya, anyway that's not the point… I decided to take a break from combat and go in to show biz. This move landed me a spot as the star of the opening opera at the new Poshley Heights Opera House. I' was wondering if you and three friends would like to take the Excess Express out to see me. We might be able to do something afterward. You will leave the station tomorrow at 7:00 A.M. On the back of the letter are the 4 tickets… You and Luigi will be in coach 1, while Peach and Toadsworth will be in cabin two. My I have been rambling on a lot. By the way the opera starts at 9:00 the night you get there.

After reading the letter Mario told his brother about the event, Luigi agreed to go so Mario got on the line with Toadsworth.

"Hello Toad?"



"Sorry m'lad this is Toadsworth were you looking for him, he's right here"

"No I need to speak with you sounded so similar… anyway I was wondering if You and Peach wanted to see the opening Opera with Luigi and I."

"Sounds lovely. When is it?"

"Well, it's in four days but we'll need to take the Excess Express and all, I have the tickets.

"I'll talk it over with the Princess; I'll call back when I know what she's going to do?

"Okay, well have a nice day."

"You too"

Mario Hung up the phone and went to talk with Luigi.

"You might want to stop reading Toad X and start packing, were leaving tonight."

"But he's about to defeat the Evil Chess Megalomaniac." Luigi replied while reading the comics and eating pancakes

"You really are too old for comics" said Mario walking out of the dining room to go pack.

Mario went upstairs and packed. After an hour of packing and reminding Luigi to do the same, the phone rang. Luigi was the first to the phone, but he gave it to Mario before answering.

"Hello Master Mario"

"Hey Toadsworth."

"So, can you guys make it?"

"Yea, so when will we have to depart?"

"Soon, we'd have to fly though?

"Why?"

"Well I read that a bad storm is coming we so we can't sail at all and our flight would be longer than normal to avoid this storm."

"How come I never heard of this storm?"

"I don't know?'

"Anyway pack up, Luigi and I will pick you up in an hour."



"Alright then Ta-ta"

"See you later"

Mario hung up the phone and continued packing.
