Metal and Fire

Metal gleams in the sunlight

Gunmetal gray

Cold despite the stifling heat

The boy with the metal arm lies in the grass

Miles away, within the confines of military headquarters

Sits a lonely man

A contained flame

Waiting to burst free

The boy of gold and gray is sad

He is alone

He wishes to jump on the next train

He is cold without his flame

The officer is burning up

No way to cool off

His subordinate is absent

Too far to cool him

The boy decides to go

He packs and takes off running for the trainstation

He is determined to shake the chill haunting him

The officer, finished with paperwork

Leaves his office for a walk

He has a feeling, he will be cooled

Quite soon

They meet in a passionate embrace

Balancing each other perfectly
