Tom stepped forward to take his turn in front of the boggart. His wand was at the ready, and he showed no outward fear. The boggarts recognized him and began to change. It was certainly something. Students leaned forward to see what it was. Lying on the floor, quite dead-looking, was Tom's body. The real Tom stared at it, confused. The boggart stayed put, sure of what it was doing.

As students began to realize what it was, they began talking amongst themselves. The last wizard who reportedly had his own dead body as his boggart had been Grindelwald himself. The Slytherins in the group didn't mind much, but they had a mixed class with the Huffleuffs, and they were only growing in their dislike for Tom. Tom stepped forward again, now looking a little more unsure of himself.

"Riddikulus," he said. The glazed eyes of the body narrowed and turned red.

"Riddikulus." he said again, louder. The skin grew paler than was natural, almost white.

"Riddikulus!" he shouted. The nose melted and the hair vanished.

"RIDDIKULUS!" he bellowed, his voice bouncing off the walls. Finally, the snake-like dead figure flew into a million pieces, disappearing.
