Everyone was meeting at BAU to exchange presents. Hotchner was there with Emily, Reid, Luke, Matt, Tara, Rossi and Penelope in their colorful Christmas dress.
Luke and Rossi were delighted with Penelope. That outfit looked like it was made by a fairy and they looked at each other when they realized they were drooling over a friend, even though Rossi wanted something else with her to wait until next year. Great staff was joy and well, everyone was safe. JJ arrived with Will and his kids and Jack arrived too.
All with gifts in hand, all happy.
Rossi went to Penelope with the gift that he bought especially for her. She gave him a hug and he could not help but give a sigh as she pulled away to open the present. He did not know very well what to give her, so he knew that when he had seen that gift it was exactly what she deserved.
She opened it and he saw the charm in her eyes as she found the collection of porcelain kittens and the colored spectacle frame. He felt happy that he was right in the present.
Hotch gave Emily and JJ one. He would give it to everyone, but they had been through horrible things lately. They both thanked her and Emily kissed Hotch. JJ thanked him with a hug in Hotch and he gave two small carts to Jack who was grateful. Reid Earned Emily a new book and a cupcake with a very cool sentence written. Reid gave Rossi a whiskey although he had some difficulty in buying that bottle. Not so much for the price, but because the clerk thought he was too young to buy. Luke gave Penelope a gift under the nervous glances of Rossi.
She had no notion that two men wanted her and that was so important to them. Luke handed her his gift and won a hug from her. He smelled her cherry scent and had to resist kissing her.
She opened her present by finding pens with a pompom and a heart-shaped cell phone. Matt won from Will's trip though it would be tricky because of the kids, but he was very grateful that Will was so generous.
There was a table ready for everyone to celebrate together and Rossi and Luke stood on either side of Penelope and she found it amusing. After eating together, only Penelope did not eat the turkey because she did not eat meat and a few glasses of wine, almost everyone had gone home. Penelope could not hold the sleep she felt after three glasses of wine and fell asleep on one of the sofas in her room. Luke went to stay with Roxie and Rossi came in to say goodbye to her. She was asleep and he did not want to leave her alone.
- Hey. He whispered in his ear. - Come with me.
- I want to stay here. - She said.
- I'll take you to your house. He said helping her up. - It's Christmas.
"Can I be alone later?" - She asked.
"Do you want to spend Christmas alone?" Rossi asked. "I'll take you with me." I have an extra bed.
"No." She tried to take a few steps on her own, but she fell. "Why the hell do I drink wine?" I can not drink wine.
- I take care of you. Rossi helped her up. He put her in the car and she fell asleep as soon as he called.
It was not part of Rossi's style to take advantage of someone unconscious, but he would not leave her alone in that state. The next day she could go home, but at that moment he would take care of her.
He parked and picked her up and carried her to one of the guest rooms. He took off her shoes and undid the bun in her hair. After picking up a deck good enough to keep it warm at night
And he sat down in one of the armchairs in the room. He wondered when he began to see her as a kitten instead of a co-worker and slowly fell asleep wishing only to dream about her. Wished that the next morning he could win her as a gift.
