1. Chapter 1: Give

Chapter 1, give

"No!" the tom yowled and pulled at the moss on the ground. He swung his head from side to side. Searing pain sliced into his shoulder.

"I can't do it, Surveillance!" he yowled.

"Do you want power?" a voice snarled, "Listen to me, cat."

She leaned foreword and smacked the tom hard in the side of his face.

"You told me what you wanted. I'm here to give it to you."

"Yes," he squealed, "Please give it to me."

"No!" the she-cat's voice flew way up an octave.

"Then I will go!" the tom yowled.

There was a terrible screaming and screeching. Scarlet blood flashed, and someone let out a long, piercing scream.

And then the she- cat raised her head.

Her mouth was wet with blood.

She had killed.

Killed.
