+ I don't own anything (except Haruhi). For my wonderful cousin, Haru-chan! Reviews are love, let me know what you think. Edited as of 1/25/12
I put looked up from my clipboard when I felt the door open."Ah, Kakashi-san! What brings you here? Wait...Never mind! I already know," I smiled. Sakura talks all the time about how he always gets hurt, but never wants to go to the hospital. I could tell that this was him. By the way she describes him, I can also tell she has a thing for him.
Now that I know what he looks like, I can finally say 'Who wouldn't have a crush on him?' He nodded absently and sat down on the examination cot (If you have the grace to even call it a cot). He eyed the pile of magazines that lay on the table across from him with disdain.
Before he pulled out an Icha Icha book, he asked, "Do I know you?" It wasn't unfriendly… it was just… uninterested. I briefly wondered if I had already read the volume he was reading, but I dismissed the though. THE Kakashi Hatake, a lesser fan than me? No way.
"Nope, you don't. The name's Haruhi Mira. Now you know me!" I grinned. Underneath his mask, I could have sworn he smiled. "Now, where's the pain coming from?" Being the doctor that I was, I just HAD to ask.
"Here…" He paused and pointed to his chest, near his heart. "And … here." Once again he pointed but this time to his thigh. Nice abs. I wonder if he has a girlfriend…
I picked up my long orange hair in a professional looking ponytail (even though the black streak took away some professionalism) and commanded "Take off your shirt." There was a hesitance, I noted and saved that tidbit in my memory banks. He did so, and I couldn't help but flush. He was gorgeous! I shook my head when my eyes fell on a huge gash in his perfect chest. In my 29 years of life, I'd never seen a bloodier boo-boo! I got closer and ran my gloved fingers over the wound. "And how are you going to explain this?" I joked. He shrugged tensely.
"Can't I do what I want, without people asking about it?" he said in a lazy drawl.
"Sorry sweetie. Not in this town." I gave a Cheshire-cat toothy grin and sort of hop-skipped over to the medicine drawer. I pulled out some antibiotics, the heavy-duty bandages, and some pain killers. I handed him the aspirin and quipped, "They're for later, when the pain really starts to kick in. By the way, don't worry. I won't ask how it happened." He nodded. I applied the antibiotics to both his injuries, wrapped them with the bandages and patted him on the back. "See? That wasn't so bad!"
"I guess not." He pressed his lips on to mine suddenly, and with want, although it was the most innocent kiss I had ever had. And with that, he walked out the door. Sorry Sakura-Chan! I think he likes me.
