Hey guys. This is something I have been thinking about for some time. I don't want to give the story away but it is quite intense. All I can say is the guys and girls are much older about 17-18. Hope you enjoy it
Disclaimer: I do not own Hey Arnold, its characters or anything else to do with it.
Chapter 1
Helga ran as fast as she could. She could taste the blood entering her mouth from the bite mark on the lip.
'Dammit' she cried as she wiped her tears on her face tearing past a branch sticking out from the heavy overgrowth of the surrounding trees. She finally to the opening of the campsite run by the Piper foundation.
It was a beautiful open area built in amongst the woodland area not far from Hillwood. Many high school trips were organised to attend here just before summer break. There were a number of log cabins built on the edge of the almost circular campsite to complement the beauty of the surroundings. There were a number of pathways also built so groups of students could be taken to different areas of the wood to explore. Another cabin was located to the west side of the campsite along one of the pathways that no one was allowed to go. That cabin had been built far earlier than the others and was now used to store several horses used for longer day trips.
That was the same cabin that Helga had just run from. It was now quite late. She knew the girls in her cabin would be asleep by now. She quickly tiptoed into her cabin and side stepped Phoebe's bed shutting herself into the bathroom. It was a quirky bathroom, with the bath toilet and sink outlined by local timber. There was also a shower which was located in the corner.
Locking the door Helga looked at herself in the mirror. Her hair was a mess with random straw sticking out of it. She had a smear of dirt on her right cheek which ran all the way up to the right of her eyebrow. Her left sandal was missing Her sleeve had been torn from catching it on the branch earlier on and now she could see a long scratch which had started bleeding. But that didn't matter. It was the bleeding lip that Helga couldn't take her eyes off. She couldn't believe it. She couldn't believe he of all people did that to her…
A tear escaped Helga's eye. Then another. Then another. She slid down with her back against the bath sobbing. Her arms rested on her knees as her forehead rested on her hands. Helga G Pataki had been broken. Her only escape from her dismal life had come to a dreadful end. Her mind was blank. It was hollow. She closed her eyes. Her once luminous thoughts of her flaxen haired angel were gone. It was replaced with a black nothingness. And now she could slowly feel her heart disappearing piece by piece leaving a feeling of emptiness as the tiredness overwhelmed her drifting her off to sleep….
Do you want to know what happened to poor Helga? Find out in the next chapter….
Hop you enjoyed it, I will try to update soon…Until next time adios!
