As the sun rises
EPILOGUE
I kept running and running, leaving the cold memories behind. I promised myself I would have nothing to do with Bella Swan or the filthy, blood-sucking leeches.
But my thoughts were interrupted; I could hear something elegant dancing in the meadow-not far from where my old patrolling days took place- it was to quiet to be a human, the breeze was heading east so I couldn't use my sense of smell to tell who or what it was.
So I kept running and listening; until I got to the small clearing. There she was... one hundred percent human. She turned to look at me, her bright blue eyes locked with mine. And then it happened...
FORKS
WELCOME TO FORKS.
When Grandma Ilyn died, she left her small, worn out cottage to my mum. I'd never been to the cottage, nor did I know anything of it, but mum had made up her mind and we were headed to forks. Once Lucinda-my mum-had made up her mind, there was nothing in the world that could change her track of thoughts.
"Olivia, lighten up you are going to love Forks!" My mum had a thing with Forks, my mood literally offended her.
"Yeah, sure I am mum. What's so special about Forks anyway?" She froze, as if I was a five year old asking where babies came from. "Oh, well... uh... It's a magical enchanting place, but as you grow up you'll find out all about it." She smiled as a memory crossed through her mind. A memory I wasn't interested in finding out.
"Right." I scoffed; leave it to Lucinda to say something like that about a place in America.
The car journey was long, my mum was silent the rest of the journey, lost in her thoughts of this magical and enchanting place. And then finally-after what seemed like hours- the car turned left into a worn out drive way. In front of the car park, stood an average sized cottage. The windows were damaged, as if the wind had blown half of its wood away. Apart from the cottage itself looking a few decades old, it was cute... It had-as my Gran would put it- a personality.
After I unpacked everything, sent an e-mail to my dad-who still lived back home in Florida- I laid in bed, waiting for midnight to strike so I could go into the woods and dance. I'd always loved to dance; since I was a kid dancing was the only thing I could relate too... my dad told me I had a different kind of mind to every other teen my age, but when I asked him what he meant; he had just shrugged and walked off. I watched the hours tick by until finally it hit twelve. I made sure my mum was asleep, grabbed my coat and headed for the forest.
It wasn't hard to find, seeing as apparently the whole of Forks was just a huge forest, I found my way to a small clearing and began to dance, climbing the trees and leaping off them...
I hadn't heard anything coming as I was to absorbed in my dance, but I suddenly heard a twig snap. I turned instantly to see what was hid behind the trees, but before I could move my legs a huge red-brown wolf emerged from the trees. It didn't look fierce and I couldn't find it in me to be scared.
