Codemaster Hotekk had just lost to Major Tom in the Codemaster challenge. His fellow Codemasters, Imthor and Crellan knew that Hotekk hated to loss, so they decided to pay him a visit and see how he was doing.
Using the underground passage ways that the regular players didn't know about, they walked into Hotekk's underground home.
"Hi, Hotekk! Are you here?" Crellan called out, walking into a spacious room with TV screens on the walls to show all the battles going on in the Hotekk Drome.
"You don't have to shout! I'm right here." Hotekk said, sitting at a computer desk, working on something.
The two other Codemasters walked towards him and were now standing behind Hotekk.
"I don't remember inviting you two inside." Hotekk said, still working on his computer and not bothering to look at his fellow Codemasters.
"We heard of your loss today and thought to see how your large ego was holding up." Crellan said.
"Oh, my ego is fine think you for asking." Hotekk said sarcastically. " Now leave, I'm to busy to talk to you two." he harshly said.
Ignoring his wishes, Imthor asked: "What location scan did you give to Tomas?"
"If I tell you will you go away?"
"Perhaps." Crellan replied.
Sighing, Hotekk turned around in his sit, arms crossed and said: " Dranikus Threshold."
Imthor and Crellan knew Hotekk may have done that trick again, but that didn't mean they were happy about it.
"Hotekk, you can't keep giving players Dranikus Threshold scans. So far almost no one has been able to figure out that the useless mugic you used during the match is the key to getting transported to the past and the ones that do can't remember what the mugic sounded like." Imthor said.
"I'm not the only one that uses puzzles to get the players to find out the secrets. And besides it might be best that no player travels to the past. They might do something stupid and mass up the time line."
"Fine then, but Major Tom may figure out the puzzle you gave him. I bate he and his friends are working on it as we speak." Crellan said, then walked away to go back to his drome.
Once Crellan was gone, Imthor looked back at Hotekk and said: "Crellan is right, Hotekk. Sooner or later someone will find out your secret and it might be sooner rather than later." He then left to go to his drome.
"What ever." Hotekk huffed then went back to work.
Weeks later, the secrets of Dranikus Threshold weren't so secretive anymore. Almost every player was now transporting to past and getting awesome new or old scans of creatures, battle gear, locations and ect.
And Hotekk wasn't happy about it at all.
"How could those four brats be so carless!" Hotekk yelled out in frustration.
"There is no need to blame the kids. Rumors spread like wild fires; it couldn't be helped." Crellan said. He, Hotekk and Imthor were back under Hotekk's drome, talking about how all the players now had past creature scans.
"Then who should I blame?! With all the players having those scans and knowing about Dranikus Threshold, I now have to use different scans!" Hotekk yelled than stormed off out of the room.
"Where is he going? This is his drome we are in." Crellan asked.
"I don't know. It's a good thing he hasn't heard of Dranikus Threshold being destroyed, yet. I can only imagine how he will react." Imthor replied.
"Indeed." Crellan agreed.
Hotekk then walked back inside and said: "Get out of my drome." Pointing at the exit. Without another word the two Codemasters left.
