I couldn't believe how many challenges were waiting for me. Trainers dawning new Pokémon from planets I never knew existed, like a golden and silver form of Clefable and a platinum form of Steelix. I never imagined I'd get to face them in battle, much less in Arceus and Mewtwo at the same time. When I arrived there on that morning, the environment around me, the atmosphere, brimming with silence was unlike any other region I've ever seen. When I took a breath, I was calm, not as emergetic as I usually was. I may as well have walked into a different dimension it was so drastic. When I went into battle against one of the tribal elders, I noticed I wasn't prancing around like the child I had been in Alola. I pulled a seamless victory becsuse I allowed my mind to settle. The pendant I recieved as a victory gift was laced with soothing aromas and they invited me to meditate with them. Unlike the ritual with Hala, I was able to control myself in a way that I found quite refreshing. For days I would dine with them, battle and train with them, and learn that I had been so naïve for so long it was unsettling. I realized that I had been foolishly arrogant against Viola back in Kalos and AJ in Kanto. I let my dreams get in the way of the little wisdom I had. After nearly 2 years living the life of that tribe, I decided I needed to head home, find her and pull her close, tell her that maybe it's time. I'm on the ship to Cerulean City now, and I know she's waiting for me. I can only imagine how she reacts when she sees me as I am now.
