Pokeman Dan Volume 1: Eevee
Prologue
He ran as fast as he could across the forest sweat pouring down his face. All he could hear was loud screeching cries. "I have to get there! I have to save it! He thought to himself. The cries of pain got louder and louder! He could hear the thundering sound of water crashing against the rocks. Suddenly his feet left the floor and he leapt into the river. He fought against the ferocious current as it tried to sweep him off his feet and down the river. One by one he forced his feet off the sandy river floor and he triumphantly raced up the river. The poor Tauros leg was pouring with blood. He took off his T-shirt and tied it round the Tauros leg. He heaved the injured Tauros off the rock with all his strength and dragged it to the river bank. He dragged the heavy, injured Tauros across the forest. He saw nothing but trees and branches. The Tauros started to become weaker and weaker. It was losing a lot of blood.
Eventually light began to show through the trees. He dragged the Tauros across the stoney pavement and into a big white building which had a red roof on top of it.
"Oh my god!" said the nurse. "I need help immediately!" she shouted.
Three nurses ran over, whipped the Tauros out of his arms and onto a hospital bed. They quickly wheeled the Tauros into a room.
An hour later a nurse came out and said "Don't you worry Tauros will be fine and is recovering well".
The nurse asked where he had found the Tauros. He told her how he had found it in the river, stuck on a rock with a bleeding leg.
"Thank you. You saved that Tauros life. Can I offer you a reward?" The nurse asked.
"No thank you madam I don't accept rewards" he said.
"Well can I at least have your name please?" The nurse asked.
"My names Dan. But everyone calls me Pokeman Dan" He replied.
30 miles away a young boy was walking along a country path. He was fairly short, had brown hair and he wore jeans and a green T-shirt. He was strolling along happily in the warm sun with his Poke Balls attached to his belt whistling at the top of his voice. "What's that noise?" He thought to himself. There it was again…. And again. It sounded like a cry. Then he realised it was a cry of pain!
He ran off down the country path as fast as he could towards the noise!
