Chapter 1: Your Dream World
Disclaimer: I do not own YU-GI-OH OR ANYTHING RELATING TO IT, KONAMI DOES. (But I do own any OCs and fan cards that might appear).
...
Earth, the planet of humanities origin, full of life, wonders, and mainly humans. Humans are a funny species, they destroy, but also create, they hate, but also love, the way the human mind works is so confusing, machines could end up unable to process how... idiotic, yet smart they are, and can be.
The region of Florida is a fairly peaceful place, where people are culturally accepted. But one human, feels like she doesn't belong in this world. She's 18 years old, has blonde hair with black bangs and amethyst colored eyes, and was wearing nothing but a black tank top and yellow fluffy pajama pants, this was Kaila N. Serioku.
She was currently on summer vacation from school and playing video games, as one would expect from a shut-in, she hated how selfish and destructive humans can be, so she began to try and avoid the fact the only any she knew how, lock herself in her room and not come out unless it's absolutely necessary.
She was currently playing one of her favored computer games, YGOPRO, it's a bit iffy, but she liked it either way, she always tried to play casually and hated seeing cards from different archetypes mixed up together and succeed in working together, she always thought that archetypes ought to stay in their own archetypes where they belong, but she was one person, like she could change the world, right.
She was currently home alone with her family (mother, father and little sister) out running errands, leaving her to "watch the house" and make sure nothing bad happens, little did she know that reality would throw this one single human a curve ball, and grant her a "second life" as it were.
"Ding Dong!" The doorbell to the house went off, sending her mind into a bit of a frenzy, "What the..." She asked aloud, "Ugh, did mom forget about a meeting with a friend, or is dad expecting a package I didn't hear about?" She got out of her room and went to the front door with an irritated face, she opened it, "look I don't know what you want, but my pare- what the..." Kaila looked around and saw that there wasn't anyone in sight; "is this a joke?" asked before stepping on stepping on something, she lifted her foot to find a strange golden rectangle shaped box with a perfectly rectangular shape in the top, and the center of the front was a shimmering diamond-like jewel, "A deck case?" she looked around to she if anyone was watching and saw no one, so she walked back into the house and shut the door.
Little did she know that someone was watching, from another dimension nonetheless. "Soon we'll finally see each other, little one." A female voice said quietly.
Later that night.
Kaila's family returned from their errand (finally) and immediately went to getting ready for bed, she waited in her room for everyone else to hit the hay, it's pretty normal for her to do this, she was able to brush her teeth and finally curl up under her bed sheets.
But for some reason, in the middle of her sleep, she was beckoned to open her eyes, when she did though, she found herself in some sort of empty void. "What the... what's going on?!" she asked in a panicked tone.
As if those words were a trigger, two lights began to shine behind her, she turned around and found two... orbs of energy, were the only way to describe them, the one to her left was completely white while the one to her right was entirely black and hard to discern from the "color" of the void around her. "What the sh-"
Interrupting her, a small sphere of energy began to separate from each orb and combine into a yellow orb, for some reason, and began to shine brightly as it took the form of...
"A woman?" A flash of light then blinded Kaila, making cover her eyes as recoil.
The next time she opening her eyes she was back in her room staring at the ceiling, "It was all just a dream..." she sighed in relief, but then thought about it hard, "or was it?" she turned her head to look at the clock, "3 am huh? (sigh) I'd better get back to sle... huh?" She began to notice a bright light glimmering from her computer; she got out of bed to investigate and walked towards the light, her eyes locked to it, and then realized something, "wait a sec, that's where I left that..." she then saw the source of the light, the jewel on the deck case that popped up in front of her house.
"D- wh-t - -st." a voice softly echoed throughout her head.
"Huh?" she began to look around sporadically, wondering where the voice was coming from, while hoping this a just a harmless prank. "Who- who's there?" she asked.
"Do what you must," Voice began to get more clearer, "Do what you must, and all your dreams will come true." The voice declared.
"What I... must?" Kaila looked down at the deck case, somewhat hypnotized by the glowing, she slowly reached out to it with her left hand, which is odd because she's a righty, the moment she touched it, a bright light began to shine from the deck case lighting up the entire room and blinding her.
The light began to fade from her vision and Kaila then found herself in a space, full of nothing but colors, "am- am I still dreaming?" she asked with a stunned expression on her face.
"I can assure you, this space is anything but, Kaila." An angelic voice echoed from behind. She turned around saw someone, someone who could only be described as a goddess to her.
It was a woman, about 12 feet tall, she had pale peach skin, and yellow blonde hair, paired with crimson red iris eyes. She was wearing yellow armor that, at the same time, looked like normal clothing, with a short shirt-like piece of armor covering her chest while skirt-like armor with white fabric covering her lower torso, at the same time, she had yellow armored gloves and boots to complement them, with a purple gem on the right hand, a brown gem on the left hand, and green and blue gems on each leg, and the final touch was a crown-like headdress atop her head, but her defining feature was that she had was that she had about well over two dozen different varieties of swords behind her back, as if they were acting like wings.
Kaila had her breath taken away from her valkyrie-like appearance, until the woman spoke up, "Don't you know it's rude to stare?" the woman asked in a sarcastic tone, snapping Kaila out of her stupor.
"Oh, um, sor-sorry," she stuttered, "I've just, um, never thought in my life that I'd see someone as divine-looking as you before." She said a little nervous.
"As much as you'll hate to hear it, flattery will only get you so far, little one." She clarified, floating closer to Kaila.
"Ummm... okay, but who are you?" She asked twiddling her fingers together.
"I am Origina - the Battle Deity of Origins, leader of the Battle Deity archetype, I have called you here for a single reason, Kaila Narukami Serioku."
"Wait, back up a sec, Battle Deity... archetype?" Kaila repeated, "Are part of a YU-GI-OH archetype from the future or something?" She asked with her hand on her head.
"Oh no, I'm not a creation of this world, nor is the archetype. I'm from a another universe altogether, segway to: my proposition." Origina clarified.
"Proposition, what do you have to offer me?" she asked confused, but Origina smirked at this.
"A chance, a chance to go on an adventure this world you live in could only imagine, a chance to play the game you love so much and make a new life all the while." Origina said with her arms outstretched at the last word.
"Wait, YU-GI-OH?" Kaila began to feel something in her heart, the feeling growing, and eventually leaking out of her in the form of a slow-forming smile. "I don't believe it." She said in a low voice.
"I see I've got your attention, will you take the deal?" Origina asked.
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME, OF COURSE I WILL!" she yelled, but then something popped up in her mind, "wait a second, I have a question."
"Anything you ask, I shall attempt to answer." Kaila then pointed her thumb to her heart.
"Why me?" She asked, confusing Origina, "Why me over all of the millions of people that are suffering in poverty and starvation right now?" she asked with a stern face.
Origina was silent for about five seconds before she closed her eyes, opening them with a stern look. "Because you feel like you don't belong here." She answered.
"But, don't those people feel that way too?" Kaila asked in response.
Origina then put on a frowning expression, "I'm afraid that I can't tell you more unless you accept my deal."
Kaila began to think about her decision, "I'm not all that worthy of such a chance but I'd have to be a fool not to take it." She thought in her head. "Okay, I'll take it." She held her hand out, wanting to shake on it.
"Very well then, shall we be off, then." Origina reached for Kailas hand, the moment both hands touched, a bright light lit the entire area up.
Immediately after the encounter, in a conference room in Origina's home dimension, 14 different individuals were in a discussion about the centerpiece of their home, the relationship between all of its inhabitants.
"I'm telling you guys, we should hold an action duel tournament." One of them said, this "person" was a guy that had tomato patterned hair and red eyes, this is Yuya (No last name); the male embodiment of pendulum summoning.
"Yuya, are you sure your not saying that because action duels are your favorite kind of dueling style?" this "person" was a girl that had pink hair tied in pigtails and blue eyes; this is Yuzu, the female embodiment of pendulum summoning.
"I'm afraid that she's right Yuya, maybe we ought to have a tournament in the volcanic region this time." The next to speak was a man with blue long hair and brown eyes; this is Yuga, the male embodiment of ritual summoning.
"Oh come on, it's obviously wh-" Yuya interrupted by someone by something an alarm going off, "Wha- what's happening?!" Yuya asked shocked.
"I feel something coming from the east, it feels... divine in a sense." A voice said from behind Yuya, a card flew out of yuya's pocket and rematerialized (think of future card buddyfight's monster summoning animation) in the form of a wingless dragon with red scales, white horns on it head and back, multicolored orbs all over its body with a large blue orb concealed behind a ribcage of sorts, and most importantly, a pair of differently colored eyes, the right red and the left green, this is Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon.
"I know what you mean, this power cannot be ignored." This time, a card flew out of Yuzu's pocket and rematerialized into an angel wearing a red fluffy dress with wings that had piano key patterns on them, with eyes that were completely colored light blue, this is Mozarta the Melodious Maestra. "Shall we send out a team to investigate this anomaly?" She proposed.
"No need." the one who denied the idea was a girl with azure hair and yellow eyes; this is Ruka, the female embodiment of link summoning.
"I've got one of our best on the case as we speak." She smirked.
When Kaila opened her eyes, she found herself lying down on warm soft dirt, still in her pajama wear, much to her disliking. "Really, she couldn't have given me a change of clothes before I got here." She complains. "Ugh, whatever, I'd better get movi..." she paused moment she saw a breathtaking sight.
She was currently on the side of a cliff, facing towards the sight of luscious emerald green plains with lakes and a waterfall to her left, while to the right of her vision, a bundle of floating islands were suspended in midair (think Primordia from Xenoblade Chronicles X), the sight was enough to make her heart skip a beat.
"I think I'm going to like it here." She said with a smile, she began to look for a way to go when she noticed a path. "Well, no other way to go." She began to follow the way the path.

This is another fanfic that I've decided to work on alongside RWBY movies: watching the multiverse: YU-GI-OH! Galactic Existence (Best title I could come up with, hope you like it). Either way, this is something I've wanted to work on something like this for a little while, just a little heads up though; this fanfic is full of archetypes and concepts that reference Future Card Buddyfight, so if things get "out of hand" with this fanfic, please inform me at the earliest opportunity, I'll knock this fanfic down like a tree if necessary.
P.S. some archetypes that already exist don't have already of cards to complement them, so I'd like to see if you all can come up with support cards for certain archetypes like lyrilusc, windwitch, and predaplants.
