It'd been a month since the basement fight with Coach Grunt. And any ideas that I had of being perfect and indestructible. Were thrown out the window, when Ivy & Zack had to rush me to a free clinic. My ribs were cracked and bruised, it hurt to even breathe.
After some lame story, about a mugging gone wrong. The doctor, her name was Kayla, patched me up. She was very nice, even gave me her card in case we need her again.
She patched me up and gave me some nice pain pills. Said, I needed to rest for a month. To make sure my ribs properly healed.
Inspector Chase was healed and back on my trail, which made me happier then I thought possible. Unfortunately, ACME is now out for my head. They think that it was my fault, that the Inspectors capture was my work of art. That I kidnapped and tortured him for information on them. I'm quite insulted, actually. Oh well, If I can fight of VILE. ACME should be no problem.
Player has spent the last month decrypting the new hard drive and keeping an eye on ACME and VILE. They just seem like 2 sides of the same coin to me.
VILE working outside of the law to do whatever they want. And ACME working outside of the law to do whatever they want to stop them. I trust ACME, as much as I do VILE.
Makes me wonder why the Inspector and Julia work for them, unless they have no choice. Hmm… something they have in common with VILE.
Although, I have not seen Inspector or Julia. I heard from Player, that they have changed their opinions of me. Julia now thinks I'm pure evil, and Chase surprisingly, likes me now. Player said that he overheard everything, that had happened between myself and Coach Grunt. They merely say, that he was imagining in his delusions. I wasn't to sure if I liked the idea of him knowing everything. But, if it helps change his mind about me, so be it.
