Rory Huntzburger tiredly pulled the key out of her pocket and unlocked the front door, stumbling inside. She'd been an active reporter for eight years, but she never got used to the bone weariness of coming home with jet lag. Setting her bag down she threw her coat aside, aiming for, but missing the coat rack. Too tired to even pick up her jacket she stumbled down the hallway to the bathroom, where she unpinned her hair and changed into her old Yale sweats. She climbed the stairs, but on the way to bed, she walked past her daughter's room, from which the tinkling of laughter was heard. She gently pushed it open and saw a sight she couldn't believe. There sat Logan, on the floor, wearing a feather boa and a tiara, pretending to drink tea out of a tiny princess cup.

"Daddy!" Elise scolded.

"You have to stick your pinky out" she said, demonstrating with her own finger.

"See?" Logan nodded.

"Yes, yes. I need to learn some more from the princess herself. I feel so honored." Elise giggled and suddenly, spotted Rory.

"MOMMY!" The little girl raced towards Rory and threw her arms around her waist, hugging tightly to her.

"Hi princess!" Rory cooed, kneeling down on the floor.

"I'm teaching daddy how to be a princess!" Rory laughed and shot Logan a glance. He shrugged and nodded his head towards Elise, as if to say "Her idea."

"Good girl Elise! Daddy needed some lessons." Elise nodded seriously and then gestured to her table.

"Would you like to help teach daddy too?" Rory smiled and kissed her daughter on the forehead.

"I'd love too, but I can't see straight. As it turns out Belgium is a very tiring place." Elise sighed and stuck her bottom lip out sadly.

"Ok mommy. Will you play after your nap?" Rory grinned.

"Of course." Elise smiled once more and sat back next to Logan, resuming their tea. Rory smiled gently and shut the door, finally making her way to the master suite and flopping tiredly onto the bed. She rolled over and closed her eyes only to feel a tiny little hand press into her back.

"Mommy?" Rory rolled over once more and saw her little girl's big blue eyes staring at her.

"Yes baby?"

"I'm glad your back." Rory smiled and kissed her daughter.

"Me too."
