A/N Excuse the randomness of this drabble, it was written for a challenge- the Quote challenge on HPFC and I have never written anything remotely similar to Harry/Fleur before so I panicked slightly. Please review

"I can't help but love her," Harry pleaded. "I mean she's half Veela."
"A quarter," Hermione corrected him. "And you're supposed to be going out with Ginny."
"But Fleur's as pretty as three Ginnys rolled into one and every time I kiss her-Ginny, that is- I can't help but think about Fleur, you know?" He paused and fiddled, anxiously, with the hem of his shirt. "Do you think I should dump her?"
"Yes."
"But I don't want to dump Ginny. And Fleur's married so it's not like I have a chance with her or anything."
"You know what my mother used to say?" Hermione asked.
"What?"
"She used to say 'You can't go forward if you keep looking back'"
"What's that got to do with anything?"
"You keep looking back at the past- at Fleur- so you can't go forward into the future- to dating Ginny."
"But I never dated Fleur did I? I don't think I'd forget that."
Hermione was stumped for a second at that but, being Hermione, she wasn't stumped for very long.
"You're looking back at the past- when you were single and allowed to fancy beautiful, one quarter Veela girls and also when Fleur was not already married- and not going forward into the future- when she is married and you are not single. Got it?"
"Oh, right, yeah." Harry paused. "So, you're telling me that I need to stop thinking about Fleur and concentrate on dating Ginny?"
"Exactly."
"Hermione, I know that. Just tell be how I'm supposed to do it."
