This is the very first fanfic I've written, so if you see any misspellings, bad grammar, or any other mistakes, please let me know. Also, I will try to post every chance I get , and I will try to make a schedule if I can, but as of now, I can only see what works. Anyways, on with the story.

Lucina's Diary

As I walked up to the bus with Robin by my side, there was only one thing on my mind, why was I chosen to go to Smash Mansion instead of father, or any of the other Shepherds. Before I got on the bus I made sure I had my mask. Once I was sure I had it, I got on the bus, and at that moment, I knew there was no turning back.

We arrived at Smash Mansion at around night time, so I figured that everyone would be asleep when we went inside. When we left the bus, we were greeted by what appeared to be a floating, gloved hand, who introduced itself as Master Hand and said that he was expecting us for a while. He led us to changing rooms and told us that we should get our gear on before we go inside. So without thinking, I tucked my hair in, put on the mask and got ready to possibly meet people. Little did I know, there was A LOT of people waiting inside and more people still arriving, I managed to get out of the crowd without being noticed.

From here, things got bad as soon as I heard someone from behind me yell the name, Marth. All I could think was 'Oh no' and ran to the mansion. I stopped outside the mansion and caught my breath and thought 'Oh god, either there's someone who knows Marth and thought I was him, or Marth is here right now' and I honestly didn't know which was worse. I looked back, making sure nobody was following me, before I went inside to find my room. As I walked to my room, multiple people and animal-looking things said 'Hi Marth' or 'How are you, Marth' so naturally, I said hi back as I continued walking to my room. That's when I realized that I, well, didn't know where that was, I was sort of walking around blindly. That's when an announcement came on saying that all newcomers need to go to Master Hand's office to get a room assigned to them. But, I was lost. So I had to ask someone where that was, and they said they were going there as well so they showed me how to get there.

When I got there, I saw Robin and apologized for leaving him behind. He forgave me and asked why I was pretending to be Marth. So I told him that it was to be mysterious and that I think Marth is here. When I got my room, I hurried, trying to not make contact with anyone. As I was approaching my room, however, I saw him. Marth, the Hero King himself, was walking my way, with Ike, the Raidient Hero. I froze, unable to move. Two legends were walking down a hallway, full of people who were saying hi to them as if it was nothing. I was broken out of my trance when Ike said 'Hey Roy, what took you so long?' I looked back and saw someone that looked like he could be from the same universe as me. Then I remembered Marth and got to my room before I was noticed by anyone.

When I got inside, I laid down on my bed and thought about how I was going to talk to Marth, should I go up to him and treat him with respect, or just walk up to him and say hi just like everyone else. While I was thinking about this, I fell asleep without changing. The next morning, I thought I woke up early, but there was a lot awake and eating breakfast. I looked to make sure Marth wasn't around before I got breakfast and sat down at an empty table and started eating. I could tell people were looking at me. Then Marth walked in and saw me sitting alone eating my food. He then, walked to my table and said, 'Hello, sir. I noticed that you're sitting alone, do you mind if I sit here?' I never thought I'd get the chance to meet the Hero King. 'OK, here's my chance to make a good first impression' I thought as I a said 'no, I don't mind, milord.' Just kill me already. I had never been so nervous in my life until that day. Despite being extremely nervous, I managed to talk to him until practice started.

The past few weeks have pretty much been talking to Marth, practicing, fighting in battles, and talking to Marth some more. I've also become more comfortable with Marth, and I stopped wearing the mask all the time. He was so surprised when I first took it off and introduced myself as Lucina. But, to my surprise, he didn't think of me any different then when I was still wearing the mask.

Nothing much has happened since I last wrote in here, but I think I'm starting to like Marth, but I don't know how to tell him how I feel. What if he doesn't like me in the same way, or what if he just doesn't like me at all? No, that last one isn't possible, he wouldn't stay around me if he didn't like me. I've also found myself almost going out of my way to be with Marth and honestly, I don't know why. He hasn't been treating me any differently than everyone else here. So why do I feel this way? I think if I tell him, mabey I'll feel better.

I think I found a way of telling him, Marth has a fight tomorrow morning, so I can watch him and tell him when he's done. I don't want to tell him before, because it might mess him up while he's fighting if he's still thinking about it. I can't mess this up, I have only one chance to do this. I can do this. Someone's calling me, I got to go, I'll write as soon as I can.

HE SAID YES! Oh my god! I didn't expect that, he actually said yes when I asked. He even said that he was going to ask me. This also happened at the right time, because we can spend the second half of the tournament together. I know this relationship can't last outside of the tournament because he's from a different time, but it might be able to continue if there is another tournament, or if I can find a way to go back in time and find him, which wouldn't be that hard because he's the Prince of Altea.

The tournament is over, and it is time to go back home, which means I must say bye to Marth. At least until I can see him again. I hope I can come back next year and see Marth again.

Hey everyone, this is the only part that is going to be like this (I mean written like a diary-ish thing) everything else is going to be in present tense instead of more past tense like this. Also, if you have any writing tips, please comment them to me and again I apologise for any grammar mistakes or misspellings, my auto correct is kind of annoying sometimes. One more thing, this chapter is kinda short but I will try to make the others a bit longer if I can, and again, I will try to make a schedule if I can, but I have to catch up with my school work so I might not be able to post something next week, I actually almost didn't get to post this chapter because of work I had to catch up on. This is a long author's note, I will try to make them shorter.
