Disclaimer: I do not own Fullmetal Alchemist!
This is a sonnet that I wrote for a school project. It takes place during the flashback section in volume 10 of the manga. Its mainly based on Hawkeye aiming her sniper scope at Roy and Hughes as they sit and talk about the fire.
Massacre
Is it fair to slay the innocents when they
Have done nothing against the world but live?
There is a constant stream of red from the frays
As people run to try to endure and survive.
I remain hidden in this dusted cloak and blue
Protecting those that possess this dark colored hue.
Should I be protecting a killer of hundreds?
With red eyes of young and old parish at his hands
From flames and gunshots sprouts the blood reds
That reached their targets after many hours of long stands
Against mercenaries, rogues, and even children.
I aim at these dogs of the military that we call men.
To end the sins that we brought upon ourselves, with what
Shall a simple pull of a trigger answer a prayer like that?
Please read and Review. I'm planning on adding more to this... My teacher didn't give me anly flames about it... Flames are greatly accepted! .
