Mewtwo's Awakening

This is the first story in "The Dimensional Legacy" series, it is a oneshot introducing the main villane. Mewtwo has gained enough power to escape his prison, and desides to teach the scienists holding him captive a lesson.

A/N: Well, this is the first of three one shots I am going to make to introduce the "The Dimensional Legacy". series

Disclaimer: I do not own Pokémon. The only thing in this story I own is Mewtwo being evil.

Mewtwo's Awakening

Mewtwo opened his eyes slowly, drinking in the light. He smiled sinisterly. "Finally I have returned."

A vault exploded, and Mewtwo's glowing figure walked through the smoke. People and Pokémon alike panicked, for there was nothing they could do to prevent his escape. He knew this, and smiled at they're fear. Mewtwo walked down the hallway, staring into the trembling faces of the scientists and they're Pokémon. "You tried to keep me in containment," he spoke calmly, "You failed." Abruptly his figure started glowing, he smirked, and a scientist rose into the air. A long toung of fire slowly spiraled closer and closer to the scientist. Ignoring the screams, the Fire Spin attack engulfed the scientist burning him to a crisp. "Enough of this!" one braver scientist shouted, "Magnamite, Thunder Shock!" Mewtwo's eyes opened and a smirk crossed his face. He was hungry for battle. Calmly raising his hand, he fired a wave of psychic energy, intercepting the Thunder Shock sending it right back at the Magnamite. "MAGNAMITE!" shouted the scientist. Dazed, the Magnamite rolled in the air trying to keep its balance. "Quickly, regain your balance and fire a Thunder attack!" Sadly, Mewtwo was done playing, and he used Psychic. Pressure started building up on the Magnamite before it could regain its balance, and slowly but steadily, it began to dent. "Quick Growlith! Help Magnimite!" one scientist shouted. "You too Piplup!" shouted another. After all of them had called out they're Pokémon, they ordered, "ATTACK FIREBLAST GROWLITH, FOR CHARLIE!" All of the Pokémon in the room started charging up they're strongest attacks, and blasted Mewtwo into the ground so hard that it cracked. Or that's what would of happened if Mewtwo didn't wave his hand and all of the Pokémon's heads blew up. "The scientists stared at him in stunned silence as he walked towards them, a ShadowBall forming in his hand.
