When Hell Freezes Over
On the 2nd Death Star, Luke, Darth Vader, and Palpatine were watching the battle outside.
"From here, you will witness the final destruction of the Alliance, and your insignificant rebellion." Said Palpatine. He glanced at Luke's lightsaber. "You want.. this, don't you? It is swelling in you now… Take your Jedi weapon. I am unarmed. Use it, strike me down with it. Give in, to your anger! With each passing moment, you make yourself more my servant."
"No. Never, I will join you when Hell freezes over." Said Luke.
" But it is unavoidable. It is your destiny. You, like your father before you, are now,MINE!"
"As you can see, my young apprentice, your friends have failed. Now you will see, that this battle-station is fully armed and operational!"
"NO! I am not your apprentice!"
"The fleet is lost, your friends on the Endor Moon are going to die. There is no escape. Join me."
"Never!" Luke took a deep breath. "I.. I can't kill you. It's not the Jedi Way."
"You've never learned the Jedi Way, my young apprentice…"
"How do you know?"
"I know… Everything."
"I will never join you. My place is with the Jedi and the Rebels like my father before me."
